What do we do during the Week?

Christianity Explored

This is a popular and effective introduction to the Christian faith, used by churches and Christian groups all over the world.  We recommend the course for anyone new to our church, whether a believer or not.  We aim to run the course three times a year.

For more details of the course, and a lot of helpful material, visit

Women’s Fellowship

The Women’s Fellowship meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month, at 2.15pm.  Meetings take place at church or in people’s homes.

Men’s Meetings

We generally have a Men’s Breakfast with a talk once a month, on a Saturday morning.

We will also have a Men’s Coffee Morning from time to time.

Children’s Groups

We currently run the Friday Club for age 7 to 11, on term-time Fridays from 6pm to 7pm.  Activities include crafts, games and a Bible talk.

From time to time, we also run a “Holiday Bible Club”, usually for Primary school children.  Details will be on our “news” page.

Parents & Toddlers

This popular local group runs on Monday mornings from 10am to 11.30am.  Places are limited and there is often a waiting list, so please contact us before coming.

Many of us find it helpful to meet during the week with a small group of other Christians.  Activities vary but will generally include discussion, sharing of news and concerns, Bible study and prayer.

Housegroups meet three times a month, at various times and locations.  Please contact us if you would like to join a group.

Prayer Meetings

On the fourth Tuesday of the month we generally meet at church to pray together.  We start at 7.30pm and finish at 9pm.

On Sundays we meet to pray for our main services, at 10.30am for the morning service and at 6pm for the evening service.

We also have a regular home prayer meeting on the fourth Monday of the month, at 2pm.  Please contact us for details.

Other prayer meetings, weeks of prayer etc may be organised from time to time.  Please see the “News” page for more information.
